Carlos Such, from Alicante, has since 2018 produced the Ibero-American Circus Festival (FIRCO). The first and only festival comprised of short performances exclusively from promising young artists. This Festival is recognised as one of the leading festivals on the national and international scene and is currently held at the Teatro Circo Price in Madrid.

On this occasion, FIRCO is playing at FRESCA! a show that reflects the artistic and technical plurality of the circus and is commanded by the Valencian Master of Ceremonies Raquel Molano. Plus, we have the Tripotes Company with us who, although resident in Switzerland, has a performer with roots in Alicante.

Raquel Molano (Valencia, 1990), presenter of the gala, impresses her presence, rhythm and strength on our audience. Her training (theater, piano, singing and composition) give her great versatility on stage.

Andrea Ramírez (Mexico City, 1999) trained at the École National de Cirque in Montreal and graduated as a cyr wheel specialist. Broken identity, she tells us about the search for identity; the pursuit of the whole being from the fragments.

Oskar Mauricio (Bogotá, 1988) of Omkara Company trained as a trapeze artist at the Escuela Nacional de Circo Para Todos. Empty deals with the space where the essential is found, the struggle for personal reunion and with others. Suspension through movement in aerial straps and mouth grip.

Michelle de Andrade (Caracas, 1995) and Daniela del Mar Díaz (California, 1988) formed this hair suspension duo in 2021. Ubuntu brings the Latin American essence to the scene, as well as the sisterhood among women.

Zhenia and José Ángel (Cuba, 1993) form the Duo Ángeles. Both trained in classical ballet at the Vocational School of Art in Matanzas. In 2014, they began to prepare their performance of acrobatics on roller skates; pure movement, force and tension.

Tripotes, a trio made up of Daniel Torralbo (Alicante), Julio Calero (Albacete) and Gianna Sutterlet (Italy) since their training at the Higher School of Circus Arts in Brussels (ESAC) in 2016. Encore un fois plays with falls, deviations, jumps and risk. A number full of movement and humor, personal hallmark of this Cia.

Bastian (Chile) trained at the FLIC Circus School in Turin and here Bastian Sol performs for us. His restlessness and energy have led him to delve into the fusion of two of his disciplines: juggling and dance.
