Peix is ​​a one-person show, balancing ladder acrobatics, music and the theatricality of the clown. The artist invites us to reflect, through the poetry of the absurd and the clown, on the impact of tourism, the power struggle, emptiness, silence and loneliness in the face of immensity, on the ridiculousness of being great and the longing to be little ones.

Peix is ​​a metaphorical journey into the human depths to search for what makes us keep swimming, searching, rowing, despite the magnitude and always unpredictable surprising strength of the waves. In 2019 it received the Fira Tàrrega Moritz Award for the Best Street Theatre Premiere.

Hotel Iocandi is a Catalan company that was formed in 2012. Its two performers, Tomeu Amer and Griselda Juncà, come from theatre and circus backgrounds. Different circus disciplines are combined in their shows, with a strong interpretative vision. From this fusion, the piece Esquerdes emerged, selected by the Camins Emergents 2013 project and awarded the Zirkolika 2015 Prize for Best Show. Since then, the show has been performed in many festivals, cities and towns throughout Spain, Europe and Asia.

The company is part of the Col·lectiu La Persiana and has also participated in the show Invisibles, XXI Winter Circus of the 9Barris Popular Athenaeum and in Rakkaus, Winter Circus 2018 in Helsinki, Finland.
